I've found as I got fatter..I get more fluid buildup in my legs and they get tired before the rest of me does..any suggestions on what might help with this

Try wearing knee length compression socks. They really help squeeze the fluid out. Also, consider taking a mild diuretic. That helps excreting the extra fluid fluid. It allows you to enjoy more smoothies or gainer shakes to stay hydrated. Finally, sit with your legs up while you eat. That helps the fluid to drain out. Hope this helps.

It may not be your problem, but I had leg swelling and it improved some after my thyroid levels got corrected and more recently my vitamin b12.

This could be a vascular issue and compression socks will help. It is best to go see the doctor and arrange for an ultrasound on your lower legs and feet, then they can tell you what strength socks to wear. The socks will make them feel less tired too.

Look up edema in lower legs and you will see more info and its important to get it checked out.
